If the Guide NPC dies in Terraria, he is not gone permanently.

After the Guide dies, he needs an empty valid house to move into.

- Pirate Invasion
- Blood Moon
- Frost Legion

- Any active boss fight
Finish the event first.
After it ends, NPCs can spawn again during daytime.
4. It Must Be Daytime
NPCs only respawn during the daytime cycle.
Even if everything else is correct, the Guide will usually appear shortly after sunrise.
If night is active, simply wait until morning.
5. The House Is Invalid
Some houses look correct but still fail the housing check.

- Missing background walls
- Room is too small
- No chair or table
- Floor made entirely of platforms

Special Case: Guide Died During Wall of Flesh
If the Guide died when you summoned the Wall of Flesh, nothing is broken. Just:
- Build a valid house
- Wait for daytime
The Guide will respawn normally.
