Why You Should Avoid Hitting the King’s Tower with Spells

Using spells like Fireball, Arrows, or The Log can accidentally hit the opponent’s King’s Tower, activating it and giving them a defensive advantage.

When the King’s Tower is activated, it starts targeting your troops, making it harder for you to break through their defenses. For example:

  • Troops like Graveyard Skeletons or Miner become less effective as the King’s Tower starts targeting them along with the Crown Towers.
  • Swarm units are cleared more easily, reducing their impact.

However, there are some exceptions. If the opponent’s King’s Tower is already activated, you can target it with spells to deal chip damage. Use this king’s tower strategy only if the value gained is worth the trade-off.

To avoid costly mistakes, be careful when using area damage spells near the King’s Tower early in the match.
