Your Combat Level
Calculations based on Old School RuneScape combat formula.
Results are for reference only.
This calculator uses your skill levels to determine your precise Old School RuneScape (OSRS) combat level. Simply enter your current levels for the six main combat stats and Prayer, and the tool will automatically calculate your combat level and show you how to reach the next one.
Understanding the Input Fields
- Attack, Strength, Defence, Ranged, Magic, Prayer: Enter your current level for each of these skills. The calculator updates in real-time as you type.
- Hitpoints: This is a critical component of your combat level. By default, you can enter your current Hitpoints level manually.
Using the Hitpoints Estimation Feature
Since Hitpoints naturally increase as you train most combat skills, this tool can estimate your Hitpoints level if you’ve been training normally.
Automatically estimate Hitpoints?: Check this box to have the tool calculate your Hitpoints level for you. When checked, the Hitpoints input field will be disabled and grayed out. The calculation is based on the combined experience of your other combat skills.
Advanced options: Click this to reveal additional settings for Hitpoints estimation. This is useful for “skiller” builds or accounts that have trained combat skills without gaining Hitpoints experience.
- Exclude Magic from estimation: Check this if you’ve gained Magic experience through non-combat methods like High Alchemy, which don’t provide Hitpoints XP.
- Exclude Ranged from estimation: Check this if you’ve trained Ranged using a cannon, as this method does not grant Hitpoints XP.
Interpreting Your Results
The Your Combat Level section provides all the information you need.
Combat Level: This is your current calculated combat level, displayed with two decimal places for accuracy.
Combat Type: Based on which combat style (Melee, Ranged, or Magic) contributes the most to your combat level, the tool will label you as a Warrior, Ranger, or Mage. This helps you understand your account’s primary combat focus.
Levels to Next: This list provides a detailed breakdown of the number of levels you need to gain in a specific skill to reach the next combat level. This is an excellent guide for planning your training. For example, it might tell you that you need to gain “2 levels in Attack or Strength” or “5 levels in Prayer” to advance.
