Tips and Tricks for Last War Survival Game

In this post, you’ll discover various tips, tricks and strategies to enhance your gameplay in Last War Survival Game, including:

Monica’s Treasure Hunter Skill for Extra Resources

Monica’s Treasure Hunter skill gives a 39% resource boost (Coin, Food, and Iron) after defeating regular World Map zombies like Ironhead Glutton, Miser, and Doom Elites.

  • Only applies to World Map zombies found with the magnifying glass research in map mode.
  • Event zombies do not get this bonus.

Tip: Always use Monica’s squad when defeating World Map zombies to earn at least 39% more resources.

Low Troops Gathering Strategy

When you have few troops left, you can still send all squads to gather resources by following these steps:

  1. Recall all squads to your base.
  2. Remove all heroes from squads.
  3. Assign 1 hero per squad (choose heroes with low “Command” attribute).
  4. Send squads – each will need fewer troops.
  5. Quick fix: Train level 1 soldiers for fast troop replenishment.

This allows you to deploy all squads even with limited troops.

Daily Diamond Earning Tips

Arena Diamonds (90 per day)

Head to the Arena (unlocks later) and go to 3v3 Brawl. Click on any thumbs up icon 3 times, with each click giving 30 diamonds.

You can do this once a day for a total of 90 diamonds.

Daily Tasks Diamonds (up to 30 per day)

Even after completing all Daily Task rewards, you can still earn up to 30 diamonds by doing the following actions:

  • Recruit Heroes 1 time.
  • Attack Commanders 1 time (target commanders without alliances to avoid revenge).
  • Plunder an Epic or Legendary Secret Task 1 time.

By combining these, you can easily gather up to 120 diamonds each day.

Speed Up Soldier Healing with Alliance Help

When healing soldiers, you can reduce healing time by using Alliance Help.

First, check the number of helps you can get in the Alliance Center. Then, start healing with a time limit that matches your help count.

After starting, click the shaking hands icon at the hospital to request help from your alliance. Each help speeds up healing by 0.5% or at least 1 minute per help.

To track your progress, go to Alliance → Helps, where you can see how much time you’ve saved.

The best time to use this trick is when many alliance members are online, especially during events like Alliance Exercise.

This method helps speed up healing when your alliance is active and ready to assist.

Maximize Points in Arms Race and Duel VS with Soldier Training

Upgrading soldiers is crucial for power, and you can earn up to 4x more points during Arms Race and Duel VS using this simple trick.

  • Barrack Limits: Each barrack can train soldiers up to its specific level. For example, a level 24 barrack can train T8 soldiers.
  • Upgrading Soldiers: You can upgrade soldiers directly from a lower level to the maximum level the barrack allows. For example, a T3 soldier can be upgraded straight to T8.
  • Same Cost: Whether you train soldiers directly or upgrade through multiple levels, the time and resources spent are almost the same.
  • Earn Points for Each Upgrade: Points are awarded every time a soldier reaches a new level, either through training or upgrading.

To maximize points, use your barracks in steps. Train low-tier soldiers in one barrack, then upgrade them in higher-level barracks. This way, you earn points at every stage.

Tip: Don’t upgrade all barracks to the same level. Keep them at different levels to train and upgrade soldiers in stages for maximum point gains.

This method helps you earn more points while efficiently managing time and resources.

Increase Unit Training Cap for More Points

Each barrack has a limit on how many units it can train at once, and increasing this cap can help you earn extra points during Arms Race and Duel VS.

To do this, click on the barrack and then on the survivor list icon. Replace each survivor with those that offer the highest unit cap %.

If a survivor is already working in another building, confirm to move them to the barrack you’re improving.

Once you’ve added the best survivors, start training with the enhanced unit cap.

After training begins, you can reposition the survivors, as their effects only matter before the training starts.

Boost Defense with War Fever

When defending your base or village, you can get a 1% damage boost using War Fever. This boost activates automatically when you attack or explore a base but not when you’re only defending.

To trigger War Fever, you can:

  • Send a scout airplane to an enemy base.
  • Start an attack or rally against an enemy base (not zombies). You can cancel the attack once War Fever activates.

You can check War Fever’s status in the upper left of the screen, below the resource meters. Clicking on it will show the countdown. You can restart the 15-minute countdown by repeating any trigger action.

Note: Avoid using this trick while you have a shield active, as you will lose it.

Boost Damage During Alliance Exercise

You can increase your damage during the Alliance Exercise event in two ways:

Join Rallies: Participate in rallies led by R4 or R5 alliance members. This gives you a damage bonus of +2.5% for normal R4 members and +5% for R5 members or R4 members with specific roles like Warlord, Butler, Muse, or Recruiter.

Activate War Fever: Just before the exercise starts, scout or start an attack on a commander who isn’t in an alliance. This activates War Fever, providing a 1% damage boost. Make sure to repeat this action every 15 minutes after the exercise begins to reset the countdown.

Note: Don’t use these tricks while your shield is active, as you will lose it. Avoid using them during war days, such as day 6 of Duel VS.

Increase Damage Against World Boss

You can boost your damage when fighting a World Boss by using War Fever. Before you attack the current World Boss Monster, scout a base that isn’t part of an alliance.

This will give you a 1% damage increase for 15 minutes. That small boost could help you reach your rewards goal sooner.

You can also increase your damage by up to 17% using Mason’s skill. Mason is an SSR Tank attack hero with a special skill called Passive: Zombie Purge.

At skill level 17, this skill enhances back row damage by 17% during battles against monsters.

For optimal results, place Violet and Mason in the front row while moving Murphy to the back.

Transfer the stronger gear cannon from Mason to Murphy to enhance your damage output when attacking World Boss Monsters.

This strategy proved effective against the Frankenstein World Boss.

Get Free High-Level Troops in Operation Falcon

In Operation Falcon, you can earn free troops by completing Special Ops. Avoid these ops at the start unless you urgently need troops.

The free troops you receive depend on how many soldiers you keep alive during the stage. When you finish a Special Op, the troops will be at the highest trainable level in your barracks.

Focus on upgrading your barracks before attempting Special Ops. Access Operation Falcon through the yellow helicopter.

As you upgrade your Headquarters, more Special Ops will become available. Aim to finish levels with as many soldiers alive as possible. This will increase the number of free troops you get.

If you have too few soldiers at the end, restart the level before completing it to maximize rewards.

Farm EXP and Resources in Operation Falcon

If your squads aren’t strong enough for the next two levels of the Honorable Campaign, don’t start those levels. Instead, swipe left to a previous level you’ve completed.

Choose a level you know your squad can win. This way, you’ll play only one level for that mission category instead of two. However, you’ll still complete all the stages and earn many rewards.

With experience, you’ll learn when to replay levels and when to advance to new ones.

Restart Cooldown Timer in the Emergency Hospital

The Emergency Hospital helps you rescue fainted troops. It has a long 2-day cooldown between recoveries, but you can manage this when your drill grounds are full.

First, wait until the Emergency Hospital is full. Then, start the recovery process.

You don’t need to claim the troops immediately. Leave them “pending” in the hospital until you need them or your drill grounds are empty. You can also wait until the cooldown is about to expire.

This way, you won’t fill your drill grounds, but the cool down timer will still start for the next rescue. You won’t see the timer running until you claim the rescued troops, but it is active in the background.

Teleporting to a Different Server During Server Wars

During a Server War, you can teleport to a different server than the one allowed by the Duel VS Attack feature. This can help you if your opponent is too strong or shielded.

To teleport, go to the warzone duel icon. In the Match Info panel, click on the “grouping” button. On the next screen, scroll through the options and select the server you want to teleport to. Only the available servers will have a green “Go” button.

Note that this feature may not be available in all server wars. Use it to increase your kills and earn more Duel VS points.

Unlock 1 Hour of Free VIP Time When Reaching a New VIP Level

When you reach a new VIP level by collecting enough VIP points, you’ll get 1 hour of free VIP time if you don’t already have it.

At the start of the game, if you have few diamonds and the VIP Program isn’t enabled, pay attention to your VIP points.

You can buy a small amount of VIP points to trigger the 1-hour bonus whenever you want. This lets you choose the best time to use it.
