To get the Red Energy Crystal in Fisch, you must first collect the other three crystals (Blue, Green, and Yellow), then press five hidden buttons located across different islands. After pressing all buttons, return to the NPC at the Northern Summit to buy the Red Crystal for 250,000 C$.

Step-by-Step Red Crystal Puzzle Guide
Step 1: Collect the Other Crystals
Make sure you have other three Energy Crystals before starting this puzzle:
- Blue Crystal (Campsite 1 Cave)
- Green Crystal (??? NPC)
- Yellow Crystal (Avalanche event)
These are required to progress the Red Crystal quest.
Step 2: Find and Press All Five Buttons
Each button can be pressed in any order and doesn’t require the crystals in your inventory.
1. Moosewood
- Location: Behind the top C$ leaderboard
- Coords:
X: 400, Y: 136, Z: 265
2. Roslit Bay
- Location: On the log left of Ashe (NPC)
- Coords:
X: -1716, Y: 149, Z: 732
3. Forsaken Shores
- Location: Inside the taller watchtower on the front-right side
- Coords:
X: -2566, Y: 181, Z: 1353
4. Snowcap Island
- Location: On the back of a lamppost to the right of Wilson (NPC)
- Coords:
X: 2930, Y: 281, Z: 2594
5. Ancient Isle
- Location: On the side of a bunker near the Pirate NPC (Stone Rod shop)
- Coords:
X: 5506, Y: 147, Z: -315
Step 3: Return to the Northern Summit NPC
- Once all buttons are pressed, return to the top of the Northern Summit
- The NPC will now allow you to buy the Red Energy Crystal for 250,000 C$
What Happens If You Try to Steal the Crystal?
You have two options when interacting with the NPC:
Buy the Crystal
- Costs 250,000 C$
- Safe and unlocks full access
Steal the Crystal
- You die instantly
- Lose 10% of your current C$ (max 2,000 C$)
- Future dialogues get locked
- NPC will only say: “I think we’ve talked enough!”
Note: If you steal first, you can still buy the crystal later using the one placed beside the NPC.
Bug History (Fixed)
- Previously, players could steal the Red Crystal for free
- That exploit has been patched in update 1.13.0
- As of 1.19.0, stealing still triggers locked dialogues, even if you didn’t steal
