What Is the Rarest Fish?

The Phantom Megalodon is the rarest fish in Fisch.

  • Only spawns on weekends during an eclipse server event
  • You get 12 minutes to catch it once it appears
  • Needs a strong rod (like the No-Life Rod)
  • Found behind Ancient Isle
  • Not needed for Bestiary completion

Fish Rarity Levels

Every fish has a rarity:

  • Common, Uncommon, Unusual, Rare – easy to catch
  • Legendary, Mythic, Exotic, Limited – very rare
    The Exotic and Limited ones are the hardest. There are:
  • 7 Exotic fish
  • 10 Limited fish
    Some of these include three Megalodon variants:
  • Exotic Megalodon
  • Exotic Ancient Megalodon
  • Limited Phantom Megalodon

What Is the Bestiary?

The Bestiary tracks your catches:

  • Shows fish by region and rarity
  • Records weight, type, and variant
  • Helps in quests and collection
  • Finish a region to get a bookmark
  • Finish all to unlock the Destiny Rod (costs 190,000 cash)

Each region has Mythic or Legendary fish.
Some are only found at certain times, weather, or seasons.

  • Great Hammerhead Shark – Mythic, windy days in Spring
  • Great White Shark – Mythic, clear Autumn days
  • Oarfish – Mythic, foggy Winter nights
  • Meg’s Fang – Mythic, likes rainy Summer weather
  • Mustard & Long Pike – Secret fish, need special bait

  • Whisker Bill – Mythic, loves Truffle Worm
  • Treble Bass – Exotic
