Bite by Night Elevator Secret Code – Is There a Hidden Code?

Many players noticed a keypad inside the elevator in the Roblox horror game Bite by Night. Because the keypad is clickable, players believe there might be a hidden secret code.

Right now, no confirmed working elevator code exists. The feature still works, but every known code attempt either fails or shows a message.

Even without a confirmed code, there are several interesting clues and secrets in the lobby that suggest a hidden puzzle.

How the Elevator Keypad Works

When you first join the game lobby, you enter an elevator. Inside the elevator you can click the keypad and type numbers.

A few important things players noticed:

  • The keypad only works when you first join the game.
  • If you reset your character, the keypad usually stops working.
  • Sometimes the red button inside the elevator lights up and allows you to exit if you get stuck.
  • When certain numbers are entered, the elevator may show “Access Denied” or other responses.

This strongly suggests the keypad is intended for a secret or hidden feature.

Codes Players Have Tried

Many players tested different codes, but none unlock anything yet.

Common attempts include:

  • 1987 – Shows “Access Denied” and turns the elevator light red.
  • 1983 – Displays a message saying “nice try”.
  • 1234 – Does not work.

Some players tried other codes related to Five Nights at Freddy’s references, but nothing triggered a secret.

Morse Code Messages in the Lobby

Players discovered something more interesting in the lobby.

The lights in the lobby flicker in patterns. After analyzing the blinking, some players believe the lights are sending Morse code messages.

Two decoded messages were reported:

  • “HE IS HERE”
  • “HELP ME”

These messages suggest the flickering lights might be part of a larger puzzle connected to the elevator keypad.

Secret Room in the Lobby

Another hidden detail exists in the lobby.

You can climb a stack of boxes near the back of the room and jump onto the lockers. From there, you can enter a small secret room.

Inside the room you will see:

  • Accessories belonging to developers and testers
  • Items scattered across the floor
  • Evidence that this area was intentionally hidden

Some players believe these accessories or items might contain clues for the elevator code.

Why the Elevator Code Might Not Be Solved Yet

There are a few possible reasons why the code is still unknown:

  • The puzzle may require multiple clues from the lobby.
  • The Morse code messages might need more decoding.
  • The code could be added in a future update.
  • Players may need to enter the code at a specific moment before the elevator arrives.

For example, some players noticed that typing 1987 before the elevator arrival sound allows interaction with the keypad longer.

This suggests the timing of the input might also matter.

Current Status of the Elevator Code

At the moment:

  • The elevator keypad is real and interactive.
  • Several fake or incorrect codes exist.
  • Clues like Morse code messages and hidden rooms suggest a puzzle.
  • No confirmed working code has been discovered yet.

The mystery is still unsolved, and many players are continuing to search for clues.
